MARCUS – THE RETURN OF A VIDEO GAME ICON

He was with us two years ago… and he promised to come back! Marcus is making his big return to ChtarWars for this 5th edition.

Born Marc Lacombe, Marcus is one of the most iconic figures of video games in France. A specialist journalist since the late '80s, he wrote for cult magazines such as Tilt, Consoles + and Player One, before becoming one of the pioneers of video games on television.

Above all, he left his mark on a whole generation with Game One and the legendary show Level One, which he created, before continuing the adventure with Retro Game One and Chez Marcus on Nolife, among others.

His tone, his humor and the way he played in front of viewers as if they were sitting next to him on the couch made him a true reference of French gaming culture.

But if his return makes us especially happy, there is another reason too: Marcus makes no secret of it and says it very openly, ChtarWars is his favorite event!
